Born from a real frustration
In early 2023, our co-founders Alex and Sarah were running a small remote team. Tasks were assigned in WhatsApp, buried in Slack threads, and forgotten in email chains. Nobody knew who owned what.
They tried every task app on the market — Asana, Trello, Todoist. All too complex, too team-focused, or too disconnected from how people actually communicate. So they built Youliable.
The idea was simple: one person assigns a task directly to another person. The other person accepts or declines. Everyone knows the status. No ambiguity, no excuses.
From idea to 50K users
Idea Born
Two friends frustrated by tasks lost in WhatsApp chats decided to build a better way.
First Prototype
After 5 months of nights and weekends, the first working prototype was shared with 50 beta testers.
Beta Launch
Public beta launched. 5,000 users signed up in the first week — far beyond what we expected.
50K Users
Crossed 50,000 active users across 120+ countries. The team grew from 2 to 6 people.
v2.0 Launch
Major redesign with dark mode, themes, full-screen reminders, and a completely rebuilt notification engine.
